Her devotation to care, serve, and compassion is credited to God.  Christ example of caring for the sick and those less forgenate is what Linda, strives to do in her life.  "Whenever I was hungry you fed me, when I was naked you clothed me, when I was in prison you came and visited me.   When you do these things unto others, you also do them unto me."

These are some of the reasons she is running for Senator of the 27th District.  She has first hand knowledge of there needs.  She understands grief of not having access to healthcare and medicine. No human being should be without these needs being met.  State and Federal Goverment employees have it; the underserving prisoners have it; why shouldn't the sick and the poor have it?

She ask you and I for our vote. Linda Sanders for State Senator of the 27th District.

Joe Allen: U.S. Rep. 8th District

Biography

Joe Allen was born and raised in the rural farming community of Mansfield, Missouri. Joe believes a Democrat in Washington will support policies that will serve you – the common citizen, pay down the national debt, restore a strong economy, fight for fair wages for hard working folks in the 8th District of Missouri by supporting the efforts of organized labor, make affordable health care available to everyone, and bring our heroic troops home from Iraq.

“I am seeking the Democratic nomination for U.S. Representative in the 8th District of Missouri. I will give a voice to the people I grew up with: hard working Americans who want nothing more than to provide a better life for their children – just like their parents wanted for them. I believe that government is meant to serve the public interest, and that government must be an instrument to improve the lives of those who have been left behind, especially those who have been mistreated by special interest groups. For the past seven years we have seen the unfair results of Republican policy: massive tax cuts for corporations, oil companies and the wealthy, overwhelming national debt, an unsteady economy facing a recession, workers struggling to earn a living on unfair wages, too many families without health care coverage and thousands of American servicemen and women killed or wounded in Middle-East conflict”.

Joe helped to fund his education at the College of the Ozarks, where he earned dual degrees in Physical Education and Secondary Education, by working jobs on and off campus. He graduated from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate degree. Joe now lives in the rural town of Forsyth, Missouri where he practices law at the Merrell Law Firm and serves as the Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Rockaway Beach. Much of Joe’s practice is focused on criminal defense and child advocacy. Joe completed an interdisciplinary program on child abuse and neglect at the University of Oklahoma while in his third year of law school. He served as treasurer of the Taney County Bar Association in 2007, and is the former chairman of the Stone County Democrats.

“The 8th District of Missouri needs positive change and a restoration of hope. I ask for your vote and support in 2008. I will work for you to see that your needs, your hopes, and your overwhelming desires for positive change become a reality”.
